The Vintage Gem CDs are compilation CDs of live performances recorded by Ed Williams at local venues, such as the Chestnut Hill Mall and The Sticky Wicket. Each CD is in a case with a full track listing, including venue. In some instances, the musicians who played the live performance are also listed. Each CD also has a cover photo by Ruth Williams. This series is arranged alphabetically by artist/band name.

Conditions Governing Access

Collection is open for research by appointment. Advance notice is required for access because materials are stored offsite.

Recordings on CD have not been transferred. Patrons may view an item’s original container and/or carrier, but the original recordings may not be available for playback due to preservation concerns. Patrons may request access copies or listening appointments, however due to format obsolescence and condition, recordings many not be available for transfer.
