The Jazz Archives CDs series consists of plastic towers of CDs organized by Ed Williams. Each volume contains several CDs with recordings done by Ed Williams. Because the CDs are not in individual cases, please consult the Jazz Archives Index created by Williams for venues, track listings, dates, and other pertinent information. This series is arranged in numerical order, as assigned by Williams. Required for playback of these CDs is the Yamaha AW16G Professional Audio Workstation found in Series Four.

Conditions Governing Access

Collection is open for research by appointment. Advance notice is required for access because materials are stored offsite.

Recordings on CD have not been transferred. Patrons may view an item’s original container and/or carrier, but the original recordings may not be available for playback due to preservation concerns. Patrons may request access copies or listening appointments, however due to format obsolescence and condition, recordings many not be available for transfer.
