 Series — Box: 9

Scope and Contents

The Sound Recordings (bulk 1959-2005) series contains unpublished recordings on reel-to-reel, audiocassette, and CD of live performances and home recording sessions, primarily of Ross’ compositions. Several recordings feature wRen bandmates and other collaborators and friends such as Dave Samuels. In particular, this series includes audiocassettes from the 1984 performance of Ross’ American Mass, and a CD transfer from the original audio reels of a 1968 concert at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago that marked Ross and Samuels first performance together as part of the Renick Ross Trio.
