Collection primarily contains meeting materials and notes, area and project reports, remarks, inauguration ephemera, an original score, and select project files created or compiled by Muhl during her tenure as Berklee's fourth president.

The Boston Conservatory Dance Department records provide information about department operations, personnel, finances, curriculum, performances, and other activities from its establishment in the 1940s through 2018. The collection contains administrative files, course files, personnel files, financial records, performance programs and production records, newspaper clippings, posters and promotional material, audiovisual recordings, photographs, and instruments.

Records related to the governance and operations of the Boston Conservatory from its founding in 1867 through 2017. Materials primarily pertain to the early history of the Conservatory and the activities of the Board of Trustees between the 1970s and the 2010s. The collection also includes a small amount of material pertaining to select Conservatory presidents.

Records related to the academic administrative operations of the Boston Conservatory from the 1970s through the 2000s, including institutional self-studies, annual reports, accreditation documents, and faculty resources such as handbooks and bulletins.

Records related to real estate holdings purchased or rented by the Conservatory between the 1930s and 2010s, including mortgage records, architectural designs, and building photos. The collection also contains documentation pertaining to rights to the institution’s name and the merger with the National Associated Studios of Music in the 1930s, and some financial records such as loan agreements and exemption records.

Records from the Offices of Admissions and the Registrar. Admissions materials include admissions catalogs and program circulars, posters and other promotional materials, and sample applications. Registrar records comprise student handbooks, registration materials, course schedules, and selected class rosters.
